Coming to the review of the game, Pirate Kings(https://bst.is/a/MOQmyukHXeZ) is a game developed by JellyButton Games(jellybtn.com/). To give a short review of the game, the game is Simple and Addictive.
This is simple because all you need to do is just spin the wheel and buy stuff for your island. Also, because of the user friendly graphics with aesthetic appearance and the excitement of what you are going to get in the next spin as a whole make the game pretty addictive.
About the Game:
You will be given an island initially and some stuff like a ship , a farm , some artefacts, a gold mine etc., that you can build on the island using gold coins and upgrade them as well. The island would be complete when you upgrade every item present on the island to the highest extent. After that, the next level island is unlocked(typically with increased no of gold coins to spend for the same stuff) and you would move on to it and repeat the process until you reach the end of all the islands.
You have only one way to earn the gold coins to buy this stuff. SPIN THE WHEEL!(You get 50 Spins a day and you can always buy more) It contains four special wings and four cash gaining wings. Out of the four special wings there are two major coin gaining sources namely STEAL and ATTACK. As the name suggests, if pointer of your wheel stops at STEAL, you would be given three islands and you'd have to choose(GUESS) the one that might have all the gold. You will end up winning a large amount of gold if you guess correctly, even if you miss you are going to get away with a decent amount of gold. Same is the case with ATTACK, but you choose which part of the opponent's ISLAND that you want to attack or you can choose to take revenge from the list of players that have already attacked you.
One of the other four special wings is called DEFEND and it gives you shield against someone's attack and you can collect upto 3 Shields. You'd end up getting a decent amount if there is no shield, and if your luck runs out(and it almost always does) and the opponent on whom you attack has a shield, you get only 100K coins. The other special wing is for you to get more spins(10 Count). The other four wings typically have a definite cash amount ranging from 1K to 100K. The objective of the game is to OWN ALL ISLANDS present in the game.
You also have a daily bonus where you can win fancy amounts by inserting a coin and pulling the lever! Continue playing the game for 5 days in a row to unlock a chest! The best part about the game is that you can invite your Facebook friends and play along with them. You also get 20 Spins for each friend of yours that joins the game.
The GOOD things about the Game:
- Great UI
- Great Graphics
- Ridiculously Simple(Seriously, all you gotta do is SPIN THE WHEEL)
- Playable on Facebook(With Friends)
- Competitive(Hence Addictive)
The BAD things about the Game:
- Repetitive
- The Four special wings do not come around that often, which delays money making and upgrading the island. The game would be so much more fun if they came along more frequently.
