Foot to glutes connection, Hyperarch Fascia Training, fascially molded feet, foot remodeling, barefoot training, fascia research, EMG studies, biomechanics, and fascia biomechanics are becoming increasingly discussed as researchers and coaches explore how the body functions as an interconnected system rather than isolated muscles. Coach Chong, founder of Hyperarch Fascia Training (HFT), has spent years investigating the relationship between foot mechanics, movement patterns, and whole-body force transmission through observational research, athlete case studies, and EMG testing. The recent completion of an HFT randomized controlled trial (RCT) represents an important milestone and is intended as the beginning of a broader research program designed to evaluate HFT concepts using rigorous scientific methods. The long-term goal is to better understand whether differences in movement quality, tissue adaptation, and foot function may contribute to performance differences between elite and recreational athletes. As additional studies are completed, Coach Chong aims to further investigate hypotheses surrounding the foot to glutes connection, fascial adaptation, foot remodeling, and the role of connective tissue in athletic movement using objective biomechanical and clinical research.
