Ready to learn some science?!
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you’d know that I love a good list song. Casting roles for these videos is perhaps my best skill and I take it as a personal challenge to use the show to represent even the most minuscule of details. But even I was daunted by this song when I first came across it. Catchy and fun as it was, I wasn’t even going to attempt it until I stumbled upon a picture on derpibooru by joycall6. It’s #1988877 if you want to look it up and it provided the inspiration on how to make this project work.
There’s a lot to go over in this one, more so than I have room here, so I won’t take up your time. Suffice to say that I poured through a LOT of Wikipedia to find uses for all these elements. I do not own My Little Pony or AsapSCIENCE, but I do have all the elemental relics to open the Vine Forest! What was that? Fire, water, wind, and ground? No, those aren’t real elements. Didn’t you listen to the song? There was the Hydrogen Temple, the Helium Temple, the Lithium Temple, the Beryllium Temple… and you thought science made people’s lives easier!
