These colonial algae are from a freshwater sample from a roadside bog in Bangkok, Thailand.
I'm fairly confident that these colonial algae are Pyrobotrys sp. -- I've seen a video posted by James Weiss 5 months ago with identical organisms, and he identified them in that post. However, someone also suggested Spondylomorum sp. I'll have to continue researching.
