Parashat Pinchas reminds us of the obligation to rebuke and protest against those who desecrate the Name of HaShem and violate His Torah. While this is certainly a difficult task for many, we see that some who attempt to fulfill it, cause more damage than good.
In fact, we see that many times, the rebuke had nothing to do with HaShem, and was all about the ego of the "zealous rebuker."
