The Pincer Grasp is an essential skill we expect babies to develop by 12 months. When your baby has a pincer grip they can hold and use a spoon, are more accurate and cleaner when placing finger food in their mouth and most importantly stop mouthing everything. In this video we cover what is the pincer grip, when the pincer grasp develops, what an inferior pincer grasp is and activities which will help develop your baby's pincer grasp.
