Pimax Play Evo gets another major update! Three hardcore features that directly address the pain points of flight and racing simmers and VR creators—higher frame rates, better eye coordination, and hassle-free streaming—all covered in one update.

🔧 QuadView Fine-Tuning
The foveated rendering (sharp center, blurred edges) now supports independent adjustment for left and right eyes, plus multiple transition algorithms to choose from. No more struggling with mismatched eyes. In DCS, switching between the cockpit and sky feels more natural, and your GPU gets a nice performance break.
✂️ FOV Cropping (mutually exclusive with QuadView)
This cuts off the peripheral vision you don’t look at, right at the rendering source—a brute-force performance boost. On an RTX 4070, Assetto Corsa jumps from ~60 FPS to over 80 FPS, a nearly 30% gain. A must-try for racing and flight simmers.
📺 VR Mirroring
Launch an independent mirror window with one click, with image quality identical to what you see in the headset. OBS can capture it directly—no more relying on the game’s built-in preview window. For tutorial creators and streamers, this is a true lifesaver.
