When I took off the sky was blue but it very quickly deteriorated I did turn around and fly 3 miles back towards the takeoff airfield but the conditions got so bad I realise I wouldn't make it back so I decided to fly north the opposite direction from the wind and clench common was in a direct line I wasn't sure if I would make it because it's higher than sea level there was no alternative fields to land at so I decided I would try that and if it didn't work out I would land at any field. When I finally saw the airfield I wanted to fly over the signal square to get the direction for landing, I could clearly see the T indicator but at the last moment I decided that was a bad move because it's downhill on wet ground with a wet wing so I decided to land crosswind on a flat part without the problem of going downhill and skidding on wet grass using the brakes.
