Written July 10, 2025, this is an original piano composition in the key of C major in 3/4 time. The title is based on the “Pilgrimage Island” that we visited this week in the Philippines. It is home to the 56 foot statue of Christ the Savior at Hundred Islands National Park in Alaminos City. It was truly inspiring to see this beautiful statue along with many statues and religious artifacts around the island. This is the 10th piano composition I've written since being in the Philippines and will soon be releasing the music on a new album and book. I may write a few more, but haven't decided for sure.
