Pikmin is a game that I have plenty of fond memories of. Whether it's the original Gamecube, the Wii remake, or the Switch edition; all versions have their quirks and are fun little adventures to admire and enjoy. The first game is probably the shortest and easiest of the bunch, but I still enjoy it for what it is. It's very replayable, and enjoyable.
Using the Bomb Rocks to open the rock doors will grant you access to more of the level. However, some sections are still blocked until you get Blue Pikmin. However, it IS technically possible to get to the Armored Cannon Beetle early; if you manage to throw some Yellow Pikmin on top of the gate in the water... it's not recommended however, as you'll likely lose the Yellows as a result.
