So eventually I finished all main missions and completed all areas at 100%, which means rescuing all castaways (50), collecting all treasures (410) and collecting all onions/flarlics (19). I expected the 100% area completion to trigger a specific movie but it does not. Maybe after completing the side story, let's see.
Like many other things in this game, the treasure that I collected last is a reference to Pikmin 2, which also had a 1000-weight treasure in its last area. They made sure that the treasure is not accessible with Oatchi (there is a climbing wall and a gate on the other side, so you really need 100 purples instead of 89. That means that 100% speedrun will have to farm 100 purples...
