I'm sure many of you are aware that Pikachu was a little chonky in his first appearances. This was before the anime, where Pikachu got a starring role, and was stretched out in order to be more expressive.

Still, I love chunychu, and was excited to learn that in the earliest version of Pokemon, called 'Pocket Monsters' Pikachu was even bigger! In fact, Pikachu weighed nearly A TON!!!
