Just some fun with texture painting. With more time and good uv unwraping you can make some pretty good looking art.

Before recording this I baked out some maps in xNormal and put them together in Photoshop to get a sort of base with lighting information before painting.
The layers were:
flat colors, AO (multiply 50%),
slightly redish AO (color burn 10%),
green channel of bent normals (overlay 50%),
red tinted cavity (color burn 15%)
