"Pico's School DX" is a deluxe version of one of the most popular, recognizable & controversial game due to many reasons & that game is called "Pico's School". This very cool flash-game has been developed & published by the edgy lord & the master of dark humored flash-games, Tom Fulp, also the founder of the very famous entertainment website and company founded in 1995, called Newgrounds, where it hosts user-generated content such as games, films, audio, and artwork, as well as this masterpiece right here! Pico's School (also referred to as Pico 1) is a point-and-click game created by Tom Fulp and the third entry in the Pico franchise, released on July 25, 1999. This game, which is the first to feature Pico, was inspired by school shootings, but most notably the Columbine High School massacre, as it was also released 3 months and 5 days after the shooting. It's remake was created by a user named Kenney, who submitted this amazing remastered version of this game to Newgrounds on April 27, 2013. It was uploaded on "Pico Day" & it is the second rendition following DeadToast's "Pico's School remake" from 2006. The game follows the same plot as the original, but with updated graphics, new music, and an additional Easter egg in which the player can find the iconic TANKMEN helmet that Pico can wear for the remainder of the gameplay & of course the medals, which now are 10. The story begins in the classroom, where the teacher woman is learning the students, including Pico about apples & bananas until one of his classmates, Cassandra comes up from the back of the class where she sits & shoots up the entire class & even the teacher because she considers that the American education system is bullshit, but except for Pico since later on we find out she has a crush on him. Now it's up to Pico, the sole survivor of this massacre, to stop Cassandra from making her evil & twisted plans for this world to become a harsh reality. After the shooting, Pico's classroom is left all filled with student's dead bodies, as well as all covered in blood. When Pico leaves the classroom, he'll see that the main entrance into the school is locked, while telling us that the teachers do this so that the students can't skip the school hours. While patrolling the hallway, Pico will find a fire extinguisher (useful later in the game), as well as an AK-47 that sits on the table from the janitor close. When he returns back to the classroom next-door to his, Pico will encounter again Cassandra who killed more students & she'll introduce him to Alucard, one of her friends & member of the Goth Punks group who has telekinetic powers. Alucard will use his powers to throw dead students & even chairs at some point at Pico to hurt/kill him & also he'll make a shield with his powers as a bulletproof. Once Pico manages to kill him, while walking further on the school hallway, he'll encounter Cyclops, another friend of Cassandra, who's armed with gun. After a little smack talking, Pico will disarm Cyclops with his AK-47, then brutally kill him with a headshot. Moving on, Pico takes the medicinal herb from his locker so that he can regain his lost health bars during his confrontations, then unlock the big gate that's been put there by the Goth Punks, by using the key he obtained from the previous fight with Alucard. When he reaches the girls' restroom, Pico will be face-to-face against Hanzo, the 3rd member of Goth Punks, who's a ninja that relies on his sword to kill Pico. He'll turn off the lights then straight-forward attack Pico while using his goggles to see in the darkness. Fortunately, Pico managed to kill him because he could see where he is due to his goggles that are super-shiny in the dark. While heading to the Teacher's lounge, Pico will meet Nene who begs him to kill her because she can't take all this anymore & so he does, leaving a pool of blood behind... The final battle will be against Cassandra in her Penilian form who'll shoot lasers from her eyes & throw explosible barrels at you. Want more content like this?
