What do you do when you have a lock with a lost key? How do you open lock without a key so you can take it apart? That’s exactly what we are doing today with our lockpicking demonstration.
I bought this KiK padlock a while ago and can not for the life of me remember what lock I put in it. I know it is a Schlage lock, most likely a Marks SC4, but idk. I figured we could get it unlocked so we can gut it and see what’s inside.
On a side note, it turned out to be more difficult than expected. The difficulty came from the actuator and not the lock however. It took some serious force to get it to turn and release the shackle. Whatever though, we got it open.
