A short introduction regarding Marine Benefit:
Marine Benefit is a fan-made Touhou Game developed by "nekofia". The theme and gimmick of this game revolves around an ocean setting, that has suddenly appeared in Gensokyo, utilizing Hydrogen and Oxygen item pick-ups which grants the player Bombs and Extra Lives respectively. The story is as followed:

Suddenly, a lake in Gensokyo expands into a small, salty sea. Not happy with this turn of events, the heroine sets out to discover the incident's perpetrator.
