Piano Sonata No. 15 in D "Pastoral" Op. 28 - 1. Allegro

This piano sonata, more or less halfway through Beethoven's piano sonata oeuvre, is a lovely, delicate work, hence the nickname 'Pastoral'. It is not as well known as the Pathétique, Moonlight or Appassionata but is a well recognised piece and well worthy of posting.
It is the wonderfully calm, melancholy first movement with which I am most familiar, but it seemed a bit rich to post just that movement and so the others are to follow this.
