This was an experiment in recording a real acoustic piano and adding synthesizers to it. While I'm not particularly satisfied with the outcome, I hope to do more of this kind of stuff in the future (but with more pre-written material). After listning to Kamasi Washington's "The Epic," I am eager to explore the possibilities of mixing powerful jazz solos with mystical strings and choir in the background (though, I want to see if it's possible with mellotrons).
