pi3g | pi3g Raspberry Pi Model A Light Project @pi3g | Uploaded February 2013 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Florian Frankenberger has put our Raspberry Pi Model A to good use: along with a WiFi adapter, a power RGB LED ("so bright you should not look directly into it") and some Java Code, it makes for a nifty light object.
Florian has added some generic JAVA code (on top of pi4j) which should be pretty easy to extend - build your own e-mail notification orb, your temperature indicator, have rising or falling stock prices a colorful impact on your workdesk ... truly the possibilities ARE limitless.
Florian is releasing the code on GitHub (thank you!). We will be hosting a project site on our support site, my.pi3g.com, shortly.
Looking forward to your feedback :-)
