In this video I give a detailed explanation of the difference between speed vs. velocity. Also included are three excellent examples that will help you to gain a full understanding of these two important physics concepts. Speed is scalar quantity that tells you as how fast an object is going while velocity is a vector quantity that gives you your rate of change of position. Yes, they may sound like the same thing but they are very different from each other. Watch the video for a full explanation.
