Today's Lesson: Crop vs. Resize

Cropping/Resizing photos is another of those basic tasks that are so important for photo editing. Today, I'm going to explain the difference between cropping and resizing, when you would want to use the different adjustments, AND how to complete a crop/resize in both Photoshop & PS Elements.

Homework: Open up a photo in your program of choice, and complete the following:

1. Crop to a ratio (1:1 or 2:3 @ 300 Resolution)
2. Custom Crop - Inches (2"x3" @ 300 Resolution)
3. Custom Crop - Pixels (1280x720 @ 300 Resolution)
4. Resize Image (2644px @ 300 Resolution)
