Today's Lesson: Isolating Elements in a Journaling Card
In today's lesson, we are going to look at three different ways you can isolate elements of a journaling card. This is a great technique for turning different parts of a journaling card into embellishments for your scrapbooking needs. Join me today and let's learn how to isolate elements in both Photoshop CC and Photoshop Elements.
Homework: Use all three (or two if using Elements) techniques to isolate part of a journaling card and create a separate copy of that piece. Specifically:
1. Isolate an element on a journaling card using the Magic Wand Tool. Then, perform the layer via cut or copy on your selection.
2. Isolate an element on a journaling card using the Quick Selection Tool. Then, perform the layer via cut or copy on your selection.
3. Isolate an element on a journaling card using the Color Range Tool (PS CC only). Then, perform the layer via cut or copy on your selection.
