I've been wanting to make this video for about a year now, and finally found the time to. Since the redux version of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter that was recently released came with a console, I was able to get access to a debug camera, allowing me to get the smooth flying shots seen in this video.
I recorded this on a GTX 1070 graphics card with an i5 7600k processor, 16gb of ram, and with the game installed on an SSD.

What Ive found after making this video is that the graphical difference between 1024x and 2048x is almost unnoticeable while the impact that 2048x has on your framerate is very noticeable. Id highly suggest using 1024x for gameplay unless you have a system capable of handling 2048x, otherwise the improvements are too minuscule to warrant the FPS loss.

Havent made a video on Stratum vs vanilla Minecraft in a while! Im covering build 9 (when 13 is the latest) because Im going to be making videos on each individual build of stratum so I can fully cover every single block theyve added. I really like the realistic pumpkins they added in this build, Ill have to compare them to NAPPs pumpkins at some point.
Blocks added in Build 9 (2048x): Stripped Logs and Stripped Wood for all types of wood, Nether Wart Block, Cut Sandstone, Pumpkin, Carved Pumpkin, Jack oLantern, and build version to pack.mcmeta (now shows you the build number in game). Tweaked: New side for Sandstone (old moved to top and bottom), LabPBR AO for Logs & their tops, other misc. improvements.
Note: I recorded the gameplay segments towards the end with the 1024x version of the pack.
