Here is some flight video of the Photon doing some gliding, fast flight, basic and advanced aerobatics. It is 45" long, has a 60" wingspan, weighs 850g all-up. With a 2200mAh 3 cell running a 2200kV motor and 6x4 prop flights of 30 minutes are possible using modest power settings. With more aggressive power usage and aerobatics 15 minutes is reasonable.
This plane is comprised of 5 pieces of foamboard, colored packing tape, and hot glue. Cost is under $100 and build time is 6-8 hours.

Readi-Board foamboard - the Dollar Tree stores in US and Canada. Other locations look for 5mm foamboard with very thin paper facing that can be peeled off easily with no solvent or effort.
