Phormingochilus sp rufus is an Asian arboreal tarantula native to East Java, Indonesia. In 2016 Alex Smith, a UK-based breeder and collector of rare Asian theraphosids embarked on a six week adventure spanning five Asian countries to search for Asian tarantula species. This video is meant as an introduction to P. sp rufus so that you will know how to accommodate your tarantula in an enclosure setup close to wild habitat.
