Making Time, acta’s weekly workshop for isolated older people, created their very own interactive theatre show for local school children to enjoy: “A story from all our stories.”

The first performances took place in February 2018, for year 4 & 5 children from Compass Point Primary, with more performances in May 2018.

"I thought I got too old to do a show but it was good. I liked working with the children as I came from a family of twelve."
Betty, 93, shadow puppeteer.

"It brought me out of my shell. I get a big glow from the lot of you, from coming here."
Dennis, 69, Phoebe’s Dad.

"We all got such a lot out of it. We started as strangers and now we’re friends. That really means a lot."
Tony, 72, Volunteer lunch team and Stationmaster.

Making Time workshops are facilitated by Katie Delaney, acta Production Manager, together with Sara Snook, Creative Producer.
