Phobic Effect is the solo project of Judaa (pseudonym of the musician and producer Massimiliano Medagli). After several collaborations with bands and musicians like Edward Ka-Spel, Tony Wakeford, Kirlian Camera, Albin Julius, Kunt, Silver Stars, Dadaism 999 and others Judaa releases "Contemporary Human" his first solo album. A techno album oriented towards dark and electronic, delirium of modulators and strong vocal samplings, raw and obsessive lyrics and absolutely danceable songs! The entire album is dedicated to the French, German and English underground scene, with simple and twisted structures, a rhythmic machine without pauses, a powerful attack on the ebm-industrial scene. The album was born a bit by chance: Judaa had created a handful of original songs to play in his own DJ sets and given the success during the evenings he took things seriously and recorded other songs in these last two years, finally reaching the realization of the album. An undoubtedly very powerful album, from the industrial abrasions of anti-music to various masterpieces between ebm, techno, trance and industrial, in a varied and deafening mix that is never repetitive. A complex, violent, acid and bewitching work, quickly fast, sophisticated and fun, varied, ideal for an exploration of the dance floor. The sounds and machines used are typically 90s, and the style has references to Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, The Prodigy, John Carpenter and Underworld, with an original touch and an always dark sound. Ideal songs for a violent urban and contemporary soundtrack. A jackhammer!
