Educational Technology or “EdTech” is a term we are using in this podcast to broadly describe the new educational ecology that has been opened in digital environments. This environment is characterized by many ethical challenges, but also many possibilities for future exploration, for both teachers and students. Here Johannes A. Niederhauser, founder of Halkyon Thinkers Guild, and Alexander Bard, philosopher of technology, join me to discuss their own thoughts on and personal relationship with edtech. We hope to outline the motives behind getting involved in edtech, as well as some of the challenges we have experienced in walking this path, while pointing towards the possibilities for improving the quality of education globally.
