Was bored so decided to have a play about with the Philips FGS224 lantern that has been knocking about the back of my garden for a few years.
The standard lantern comes equipped with a single 36w PL-L compact fluorescent lamp and a high-frequency ballast.
I decided that the lantern would look good with a 55w SOX lamp instead!
Here follows a quick and dirty vid following the conversion.
