This is my Philips 175W mercury vapor firing up. I like a lot this bulb; it is kinda' special for me for some reasons and the way I got it is kinda' funny; it was inside an old NEMA fixture mounted in a short pole, used to light an abandoned parking lot when this was in use. But since it closed in 2003, this bulb was unused for about 9 years, full of dirt and careless. The pole was so short that I can even reach it with an small escalator, so I bring one from home and took the bulb away.
