After a few days in Danao we decided to take a bus going to Bantayan, a beautiful little island located at the nothern end of Cebu. It’s a perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet, amazing turquoise water and great white sand beaches, along with some of the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Getting to Bantayan Island is not hard at all. Simply take a bus from North Bus Terminal in Cebu going to Hagnaya Port, the ride takes around 3 hours. From the port in Hagnaya you can catch a ferry going to Santa Fe. We spend a couple of days there at the Coral Blue Oriental Resort, a beautiful resort made of classic bamboos and local materials. The rooms are directly at the shoreline and from the balcony you have an amazing view on the beach and the ocean.
