The weather was a little better today and we decided to rent a bike and go looking for Paradise Beach, a beautiful little hidden beach surrounded by turquoise waters, wild cactus and aloe plants. We didn't find it, at least not that day, so we just kept on going and explored the island a little. After passing by a couple of small villages we ended up at the Bantayan Nature Park and Resort. The Resort has a nice natural cave pool, a big 25 metre outdoor pool overlooking the ocean, a mini zoo, a bar and a restaurant with karaoke. Exploring the island by bike is a great way to see more of the island than just the resort you are staying at and the beautiful beaches. You can also get a glimpse of the everyday live of the locals living on Bantayan.
