I wrote 'Across the River' for a class project, and you can now listen on all major stores and streaming services.
Also, a big shout-out to fellow student Emma Green for offering to sing on it and for doing an excellent job!

Lyrics:
The city hum is on repeat
My thoughts are drowning to the beat
Machines are playing in surround sound
I never realized that silence
Doesn't have a price
I need to find a way out of this place

I let my feet carry me across the river
I let the sounds fade away

I stop a moment, hold my breath
I slow the turning of the Earth
Thoughts once deadened now unleashed
No longer hidden underneath
I think about how everything
Changes who I am within
And where it takes me up ahead
Down from the door where it began

All around are ancient giants
An army rooted deep in silence
Arms are lifted reaching high
To greet the singers in the sky
Keeping watch and standing tall
Love equations scar their walls
There to stay, not yet erased
Monuments to younger days

I see my steps written down on the ground
They’re telling me, do the right thing
