On June 19th, 2026, 44-year-old Eugene Horsch was stopped near Independence Mall in Philadelphia after a park ranger approached a parked BMW. Officers recovered firearms and a fraudulent DEA badge, then searched the house he shared with his late father, Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, on Chew Avenue in Olney. R.C., a photographer and filmmaker, died in 2025. Inside the property, police seized guns, chemicals, a 55-gallon drum, five urns, and about 50 hard drives containing hundreds of thousands of images and roughly 70,000 videos. On the first drive reviewed, investigators said they found footage of two missing women, Gabrielle Amarando (last seen in 2012) and Maribel Fresses (last seen in 2018), appearing alive in the house and later appearing deceased. Other missing women have also been linked to the address, including Amy McHale and Blair Tonzelli. No bodies have been recovered. Eugene Horsch is in federal custody on firearms and related charges; he has not been charged in connection with the disappearances. The digital review is ongoing.
