I was debating flat earther Michael Aftias when my friend, PhD Tony, joined the stream to explain some genuinely basic science.
Unfortunately, Michael wasn’t interested in learning. He doubled down, talked over everyone and somehow managed to become more confidently wrong with every sentence.
Tony tried patience. Tony tried reason. Tony tried explaining it slowly.
Then Tony snapped.
Watching a PhD finally lose his patience with weaponised stupidity was every bit as glorious as you’d expect.
