Phase Shift is by far the best GH/RB clone I've ever come across. Decided to give it a little test run, so I made a drums chart for one of my favorite tracks in the Balloon Party album. ;3
No, I'm not releasing this chart just yet. I have more bigger plans for this thing in the near future... maybe.

This is not a normal Clone Hero chart. You are meant to play this on a gamepad with button mappings that mimic how Squid Beatz is played in Splatoon 2. Ive included a readme file in the download link that explains how this is set-up.
In Squid Beatz, the face buttons and the d-pad are mapped to the pink notes, while the trigger buttons are mapped to the green notes, so theres room for some creativity there if you want to be consistent in hitting them, and often times take a while to get it just right. This conversion would (hopefully) aid in that regard.
The idea behind this is that if its in Clone Hero, you are forced to play the chart in one specific way, and in turn forces you to quickly develop muscle memory needed to FC the actual chart in Squid Beatz.
This idea came about because I had to struggle orienting myself to the Squid Beatz format at first. Very often I would mentally rotate the chart so theyd be scrolling downwards in my mind, and I would always treat the green notes as my left hand, and pink notes as my right. Its a little frustrating, but I got it eventually. :p
Anywho, this is also kind of an experiment of sorts, let me know if you wanna see more Squid Beatz conversions like this! I might do every single song in the game if theres a demand for that.

L-Train did a spectacular job with this cover! And with all those instrument solos he did, you have to wonder that this would probably be the kind of the song that should totally be playable on Rock Band, haha. And that urged me to make this! Definitely a fun song to chart, and ridiculuously fun to play on drums too!
Im not the best at charting vocals, so this marks my first time doing so! Hopefully its singable enough once someone actually gets this into Rock Band...

I specifically remember someone wanting to see a sheet music made for this song and h8_SeeD responding that hed be interested to see what itd be like. So I figured, why the hell not? and, well... made this. This was actually quite fun to transcribe too~ ;p
(Tablature, sheet music, whatever the heck you wanna call it, lol)
I think this thing is starting to turn into a personal hobby of mine... its always interesting to hear what any song would sound like in MIDI, haha.

WOW OKAY, WHERED THAT GREEN BAR THING ON THE RIGHT COME FROM?
Anyways, I uhh... sort of had an idea for this, kinda. It uses pretty much the same technique that I used for my previous 3D visualizer video, except that this one consists of 115 video tracks in total. Rendering this on a laptop was a b****; Vegas would start spazzing out if I tried to render in 720p, so sacrifices had to be made. And no, I dont have any other PCs at my disposal at the moment (college, remember? :u).
A fun fact is that none of the bars you see here are on a single video track. They each consist of 4 tracks, which make up the sides for each bar. Vegas cant actually render in pure 3D, it can only render a single 2D image in 3D space, so you have to actually BUILD your 3D objects from scratch, using whatever image/video materials you have, and then parent the tracks together. (go look it up, because barely anyone uses track parenting in Vegas anymore :v)
Also if you notice the video flickering... yeah I dunno why really. Im already pushing Vegas way over its limits with this, so I assume that it would start glitching with the render at one point or something. Whatever I guess lol.

Take control of the atmosphere...
No, your eyes arent deceiving you, and yes, this is my (technically) second PMV that Ive made ever. I love Mutemath, and I figured after listening to the song that itd be a perfect song to show RDs love for flying, so I decided to do this little simple PMV.
I trimmed out the second verse because I dont want to stretch it out any longer; this is already stepping out of my comfort zone, and I really dont wanna put too much effort into these sort of things, at least not yet.

Anywho, suggestions and criticisms are welcome. I do wanna be able to do more stuff besides the things Ive already done on this channel, because I know Im not going to be sentence-mixing forever (or do MIDI tablatures for those who are into that), so should one day happen that I decide to stop doing all those, Ill know what other things I can do to keep you guys entertained, like this PMV for instance. X3
