"Hmph! You think yours is a REAL mustache?"
After about a year and almost a month of work, "Phantom of the Ashfur" is finally complete!! My first MAP ever, I can't believe it took this long, but I'm not mad. The final product came out wonderful, and I'm proud of everybody who took time out of their day to work. I am very aware that I've made some mistakes as the host, which do include being indecisive on due dates, making the MAP a sudden Halloween MAP, then not doing that, and overall struggling to keep things going smoothly. I deeply apologize to the participants on my amateur hosting skills, but I learned a lot with this MAP, and I plan that in the future, I will not make the same mistakes.
This MAP is a tribute to both the Warrior Cats book series by the Erin Hunter team and Harper Collins Publishing, and the Mario + Rabbids series by Nintendo and Ubisoft. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is one of my all time favorite video games, and Warriors is BY FAR my favorite book series. A year ago, I decided that my first ever MAP would be a tribute to these masterpieces of storytelling.
As the story for this MAP goes, Bramblestar (playing the role of Mario) has tracked down his worst enemy into the Spooky Trails of the Dark Forest, accompanied by Squirrelflight (playing the role of Peach), and the rag tag team of Warriors, Bristlefrost (Rabbid Mario), Shadowsight (Rabbid Peach), and Rootspring (Rabbid Yoshi). What they don't expect is what Ashfur (playing the role of The Phantom of the Bwahpera) has up his sleeves. Nor did they expect him to write a song about how much he hates Bramblestar and loves Squirrelflight and how Squirrelflight should love him instead.
