Part 2 of my footage comparison. I shot similar footage to part 1 but made sure I tapped to focus on the Phantom 4 Pro. Sorry, still getting used to doing that every flight as I’m coming from a Phantom 4, which didn’t require tap to focus. I think it definitely made a difference, so thank you to everyone who reminded me to tap the screen (or hold down the shutter button half way) to ensure the footage is focused properly on the Phantom 4 Pro.
To make a level playing field, I set both cameras to auto with no color or style. The Phantom 4 runs the H.264 codec at 60Mbps, while the Phantom 4 Pro was set to H.265 at 100Mbps. The Phantom 4 sports a wider 94° FOV than the 84° FOV on the Phantom 4 Pro.
