Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh is the 1996 sequel to the original FMV horror adventure game, Phantasmagoria, from Sierra. Serving as its own standalone story, we play we Curtis Craig, a young man who is one year removed from being released from an abusive psychiatric hospital. He works to make sense of his memories and survive an onslaught of increasingly disturbing hallucinations he experiences all while a series of brutal murders begin to occur around him. Well written and acted, the game offers a refreshingly mature and insightful take on mental health and sexuality, particularly relative to its release date in the mid 90's.
