Not a book, not a movie, not a cartoon or a play....A LIVE ASSAULT ON THE SENSES! This was the tagline announcing this exciting group, mixing eerie lyrics, dark guitars, and a dancey backbeat to produce a spectacle during their shows! The night begins as PHANTASM's charismatic frontman, Kelli Stevens, emerges from a coffin! PHANTASM is: Kelli Stevens, Tannith Leigh, Kirk Ramsey, Donovan Kane, Jezebel and Roxxie.
This video features the songs "Back Again", "Day By Day", "(No Room For) Romance", and "Now!"
The video was originally edited tape-to-tape on my Panasonic AG-6500 system. We started production in late '94 and the date on the finished tape that I have is 1995. Looking at it now, I would love to re-cut this digitally and add more of the footage that I shot. This was such a visual band and I wish I had done a lot more with them. PHANTASM was a fun group and I really enjoyed working on this.
