In this video I drone on about how modern metal files suck, and how they aren't made like they used to be.
Pferd is the only company I've found, that is making files today that work just as good as the vintage ones.
Pferd makes the chainsaw sharpeners for Stihl, and they 'might' even be made in Germany.
I highly recommend them for sharpening or light hand machining work.
