The Hydor Professional canister filter is designed to be the only filter your aquarium needs. The space saving design allows the unit to be placed inside most aquarium stands. It features no water bypass to ensure optimum filtration and can be easily customized for your own media. Impellers feature ceramic shafts for safe use on freshwater or saltwater aquariums. The built in priming pump makes starting the filter a breeze. Features a telescoping intake tube with strainer to allow water to be pulled from deeper within aquarium. Locking IN-OUT taps for easy filter removal from under aquarium allows tubing to remain in place while performing filter maintenance. Media baskets are designed for no water by-pass which makes it easy to tell when filter needs cleaning. Also features, U-shaped return and suction tubes, flexible tubing, spray bar, and clips with suction cups to hold spray bar and intake tubes in place. Filter media is included: porous cylinders for biological filtering, large pore sponge for mechanical filtering, filter wool for super fine mechanical filtering. Add your own chemical filtration, such as active carbon or zeolite, for complete customized filtration.
