The Boyd Chemi Pure Elite has the same formulation as the original Boyd Chemi-Pure, with the addition of ferric oxide to remove phosphates and red slime (cyano-bacteria). ChemiPure Elite promotes aerobic bacterial growth while removing dissolved organics. Use 1 unit for 40 gallons, 2 units for 100 gallons and 1 extra unit for every additional 25 gallons. Each unit lasts 4-6 months. 1 unit equals 11.74 oz.
