I love Colombia because of the close-knit Black community I always find whenever I come through, but this was probably my Blackest visit yet. The Petronio Álvarez festival is a celebration of Afro-Colombian culture and Blackness across the diaspora. The food, music, and vibes are perfect.

It happens every year toward the end of August and this year even Meghan Markle and Prince Harry came out.
