Combo and I got into it on this one because the debate isn't just Rookie of the Year, it's how special this whole class could be.
I've got Darren Peterson as my guy for Rookie of the Year off pure skill level, but Caleb Wilson's ceiling with that athleticism is a different conversation entirely. Boozer's a bit different too, I don't think he has the highest ceiling but he might have the highest floor of anybody in this class. Give him that high post role like Jokic and watch him operate.
And that's what led us to the bigger point: I think three guys from this class could end up being legit MVP candidates. We forget Brunson and Luka came out in the same draft, and history says that kind of overlap almost never happens.
If this class hits, we're not talking about a good rookie class. We're talking about one of the best ever. #shorts
