With a Bachelor degree in Metallurgical Engineering from McGill University and a Doctorate degree in Chemical Metallurgy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Tarassoff has more than 50 years of experience in research. He has worked for multiple mining companies, among which the Quebec Iron and Titanium Corporation, CIM, Research Management Association, CANMET and Noranda Inc.
