Part ONE of the Endless Dream story is here. It's called IDIOSYNCRASY.
But who's that scruffy dude in the taxi?
And where is he heading?
Here’s what John has to say about the track;
"Some rare days, when you are in the middle of a creative process, you can experience an overwhelming feeling of invincibility.
That you are some sort of a genius and that no one else could ever create what you are now in the process of creating.
The next day that feeling is usually totally gone and instead, you are desperately trying to understand what the hell you were doing yesterday.
So, I wanted to write an exaggerated lyric about when you let that inflated emotion take control of you.
About when you love yourself a little bit too much, about the thin line between mindfulness and madness.
When I wrote it, I was listening a lot to blues from the 20s and 30s so this track shaped itself into some kind of odd, self-aggrandizing blues.
This song might also work in a self-therapeutic way when you think that all the people around you are idiots.
Good luck!"

LYRICS:
Behind the wall of modesty
Comes the sound of my poetry
I call out twisted lies,
Words that rhyme
Life is a waste of time in your state of mind
Got a tremendous ability,
A narcissistic ebriety
I’m too vain to be insane
It’s not you, it’s not you it’s me Idiosyncrasy
Live to let myself free
Egocentricity
Superficially I’m all that matters to me
Hear me laugh like a maniac
When I glide through the cul de sac
I stab a hole in the everyday
With the needle from a haystack
Step aside my borderline
It’s not you, it’s not you it’s me Idiosyncrasy
Live to let myself free
Egocentricity
What you think of me is all the same to me
Idiosyncrasy
Got my Skeleton key
Egocentricity
Superficially I’m all that matters to me
