Create a stunning Petal Brust quilted table runner with this easy pattern. Using either 5" squares or 2½" strips, you can make a 16" x 55" table runner featuring a star-flower inspired block.
In this tutorial, I’m working with Willow by Sharon Holland and Deco Stitch Cloud from Art Gallery Fabrics. The floral prints and soft textures bring the Petal Brust design to life, but this pattern works beautifully in any color palette—seasonal, modern, or traditional.
Perfect for scraps or pre-cuts, this project is a quick and satisfying way to add handmade charm to your table.

Table Runner: 16” x 55”
21 - 5” squares
¾ yard - Background Fabric (Includes Sashing and Border)
From print 5" squares:
Subcut:
84 - 2 ½” squares
From background:
Subcut:
48 - 2 ½” squares
The remainder will be used for 3 ½” x WOD strips for sashing and border.
