A Perspective Experiment in Windows Movie Maker where I tried to use the flip transition on a mix of fullscreen 16:9 slides and very slender, smaller 2D images created in Adobe Photoshop, in order to give a sense of 3D space. Animating from a large face side into a thin edge works sort of well, but the way Movie Maker treats different axis isn't perfect. :( The basic designs I used for testing are also less than HD...
