Behavioral psychology and cognitive psychology are two very different branches of psychology. One focuses on what a person does, how they interact with the world; that is behavioral. Cognitive focuses on why people make certain decisions and why they see the world in the way they do.
This video focuses on why it's so important for the MBTI community to focus on cognition, and not behavior!

![Cognitive Function Position: a phrase based approach
What does X cognitive function look like in first slot vs third? What about second vs fourth? This video should help you understand a bit more of the function positions and how they articulate themselves within the type.
My content is a framework for understanding, not sensory literal. I encourage you to create your own function reductions and plug them into either my phrases or ones similar you come up with. Again this is to help you understand a default (not growth mindset) direction in cognition and how different functions could appear within the type.
Some juice from the video if you wanted to put it in your notes.
Function Reductions:
Te: what works integratively
Ti: what makes sense to me
Fe: What they enjoy
Fi: What I value
Ne: All of the possibilities
Ni: The singular concept
Se: real world option
Si: Order in reality
I am responsible for [First function][Second function].
Once I consider (Savior) then I can (Axis Demon).
